Mobility development concept for Taufkirchen (Vils)

An integrated mobility development concept (German: Mobilitätsentwicklungskonzept) is currently being drawn up for the municipality of Taufkirchen (Vils). In several sub-concepts, solutions for current and future challenges due to the growing volume of traffic are to be developed. The company Obermeyer Planen + Beraten GmbH was commissioned to create the MEK with the support of team red Deutschland GmbH. The focus is on promoting the environmental network and reducing individual motorized traffic.

Results of the citizens' survey

The citizens were included in the mobility concept in May 2020 through a representative citizen survey. Various workshops with decision-makers (schools, clinics and companies) will follow soon. The participants in the citizens' survey were selected from the residents of the municipality of Taufkirchen (Vils) through a random sample. There was a general open survey for those who did not receive a questionnaire.
