The Senior-Service-Center in Taufkirchen (Vils) is located in the center of the community. The operator is Pichlmayr Wohn und Pflegeheim-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH from Eggenfelden, which operates 17 facilities of this type in Bavaria.

The Senior-Service-Center offers 90 fulltime-care places, 9 assisted living apartments and 40 places for adults with mental illnesses. An extensive range of therapies enables the best possible care and support.

The privately operated nursing home "Villa Moosen", located in a quiet location in Moosen (Vils), exists since August 1996 and is a home that is contractually recognized by nursing care funds and the Upper Bavaria district. It offers 68 places in single and double rooms for elderly people in need of care in a family environment. The qualified staff guarantees optimal care.
