Inclusive Kindergarten "VilstalKinder"
The inclusive kindergarten “VilstalKinder” was opened in September 2017 in a new building at Carl-Orff-Straße 2 in Taufkirchen (Vils). The institution is under the patronage of Kath. Youth Welfare Munich and Freising (Einrichtungsverbund Steinhöring). Children from zero to school entry with and without increased support requirements are taken care of. They have the opportunity to meet, play and learn together, both in their own group and other groups. In the spacious and bright building with a large garden all children can thrive.
In addition to two regular kindergarten groups and a nursery group, there is a curative pedagogical group for boys and girls with developmental delays or behavioural problems, which is open to children from all over the county.
In terms of content and space, the newly designed children's home is based on the inclusive Reggio pedagogy from Italy.
You can find out more about the facility, especially childcare times and contact details in Kinderhaus-Broschure and on the homepage of the Einrichtungsverbund Steinhöring.
Articles with further information on the opening and inauguration of the kindergarten can be found in the archive of the community magazine Kompass.
