City Council
The city council of Taufkirchen (Vils) consists of the 1st mayor and 24 other council members. Taufkirchen (Vils) exceeded the population limit of 10,000 in 2016, which increased the number of councilors from 20 to 24. Since this electoral term there is also a 3rd mayor in addition to the 2nd mayor.
