The municipal bus has been in use in Taufkirchen (Vils) since September 2013. From Monday to Friday, starting from the stop in Bräuhausstraße, it drives to 27 stops and arrives back at the starting point after half an hour. It runs every half hour from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m and from 1.30 p.m to 5 p.m.
All shops, doctors and public facilities such as the town hall, forest bath, cemetery in the local area can be easily reached with the municipal bus.
Since January 2020, the municipal bus can be used free of charge for everyone!

ATTENTION:
Due to the closure of Reckenbacher Straße from April 21st to 24th, 2026, the community bus will not be able to serve stop number 3. We kindly ask all passengers to use stop number 2 or 4 instead. After stop number 4, the bus will continue its regular route. Please note that delays may occur due to the detour. Thank you for your understanding!
ATTENTION:
The stop "Zugspitzstraße" was moved from the corner of Kolpingstraße to the corner of Hochgernstraße.

Disabled-friendly and comfortable vehicle
The Taufkirchen municipal bus was officially handed over to its destination on 13 March 2014. The handicapped-accessible Mercedes Sprinter is a low-floor vehicle, which makes it easy for wheelchair users and people with walkers to get in at stops specially designed boards.
