On the traditional Bavarian church consecration weekend (on the 3rd Sunday in October), the "TaufKirtamarkt" takes place in the Taufkirchen moated castle with its picturesque backdrop.
This market, organized by the municipality of Taufkirchen (Vils), was held for the first time in 2014. Numerous exhibitors from various areas of creative craftsmanship, who presented their high-quality and self-made works and goods, as well as numerous visitors ensured a successful debut. In the following years, the "TaufKirtamarkt" enjoyed increasing popularity and is now an integral part of the culturally shaped market life in the Vilsgemeinde.
All artisans and suppliers of natural products interested in a stand are therefore invited to contact the municipality of Taufkirchen (Vils) with an application.
