Adlberger Market

11th & 12st May 2024

In 1689, the then lord of the local castle, Baron Adam von Puech, had this traditional market moved from Adlberg, a few kilometres west of Taufkirchen (Vils), to his own town for economic reasons. That's where the name comes from.

This oldest Taufkirchen goods market now takes place annually on the weekend before Pentecost. On Saturday and Sunday, Landshuter Straße between Marktplatz and Hierlhof as well as Bräuhausstraße are transformed into a merchant and entertainment mile.
