Highways

The municipality of Taufkirchen (Vils) is crossed by two important highways that intersect in the village: The federal highways B 15 (German holiday route Baltic Sea – Alps) and B 388 (Passau – Munich). The two highways open up the best connections in all directions.

  • To the west you can reach Munich Airport via the B 388 from Erding. The B 388 is also the direct connection to the metropolis of Munich (about 60 km).
  • To the east, the B 388 offers a well-developed connection to Passau.
  • On the B 15 to the north you can reach Landshut by car in about 20 minutes.
  • South on the B 15 you reach Rosenheim in about an hour.
